The original BFO model features a dual-layer, semi-rigid Plastazote base that strikes a perfect balance between cushioning and control. Ideal for both casual and athletic shoes, this model can be easily modified by gluing adjustments to the base for rear and forefoot correction. The finished look is achieved with a full-length, 1/8"-thick layer of polyurethane topped with blue Ultralure fabric. The polyurethane layer offers exceptional shock absorption across the entire plantar surface, while also resisting compression and providing insulation and cushioning against cold and hard walking surfaces.
